Complete White Label Software Solution for Integrating Publisher and User Content

February 20, 2008

Ripple6, a newly named company that has proven its technology for a year through its web site MomJunction, today announced the launch of the company’s white label social media platform, featuring its proprietary Ripple™ technology that allows publishers and marketers to integrate social media, content publishing, ad serving and social marketing with the industry’s only embedded word-of-mouth analytics tools.

Ripple6’s technology provides publishers for the first time with the ability to measure the flow of content and messages across communities on the Internet, and gives consumers control to create and move their own messages from group to group. The embedded analytics provides a basis for marketers and publishers to understand the social media components of any segment of their website. Such as:

  • Keyword content — what’s being published and discussed
  • Reach — how many people are engaged in each discussion and the degree to which word of mouth amplifies the messages
  • Flow — how and where messages travel through social networks Traditional demographics and psychographics, aggregating whom messages reach, who reacts to them and who spreads them
  • Geographic breakdown of members

Using non-personally identifiable information, Ripple6 maintains industry leading privacy protection standards.

“We deliver to our partners a way to develop deeper relationships with consumers and offer compelling data and insights to validate their social media efforts,” said Sang Kim, CEO of Ripple6. “Ripple’s proprietary technology addresses the needs of publishers and marketers by seamlessly integrating both published and user-generated content into their websites, and provides consumers with a more relevant social experience that they can shape for themselves.”

Ripple6 has been in a strategic partnership with Procter & Gamble since February 2007, working with P&G to enhance relationships with consumers through two-way interaction and communication. Several projects with P&G are underway including a partnership to integrate the Ripple6 platform into a new site for Guiding Light, the longest running show in broadcast history.

“Our consumers are increasingly participating in online communities. These communities offer potential to activate and accelerate word-of-mouth, and to build engaging connections between brands and consumers,” said Stan Joosten, Innovation Manager – Holistic Communication, P&G. “Our partnership with Ripple6 has provided us a unique opportunity for marketing innovation in social media, with a look beyond traditional online advertising and toward developing even stronger relationships between consumers and P&G brands.”

Ripple6 now becomes the parent company for MomJunction. For more information please visit www.ripple6.com
